QWERTY

Christopher Sholes invented the QWERTY layout and sold the design to Remington in 1874, which also happens to be the year it debuted on the typewriter. According to Dictionary.com, a QWERTY keyboard will let you type thousands of English words with just your left hand but only a few hundreds with the right. Interesting huh? Do you guys know that QWERTY is not the only keyboard design there is out there? Other board layouts include the Colemak and the Dvorak Simplified Keyboard.
Yeah, it blew my mind too. It was like finding out someone was actually using a Macintosh back in 1993 —it's crazy because everyone else was using Windows. Haha. Well, now you and I know!
