The Words That Get Me Through

The Woods are lovely, dark, and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep.
And miles to go before I sleep.
~Robert Frost

The first time someone read Robert Frost's Stopping By Woods On A Snowy Evening to me, it was whispered into my ear as if it is the kind of thing only meant to be said in hushed voices; the sort of thing that you only ever say to someone whom you know needs hearing the words. It felt very much like being told a secret, and I like to think that it probably was. I have promises to keep. And miles to go before I sleep. And miles to go before I sleep. Goodnight everybody.
